About F1 Class Standard Weights

Complete with base plate. The faces of the mould are machined flat to +/- 0.02mm accuracy and finished to within +/- 0.2mm of specified dimensions. Material for construction of moulds is Cast Iron or Mild steel. The moulds are stout enough to prevent distortion and facilitate the removal of the molded specimen without damage. The Moulds are so machined that when they are assembled ready for use, the dimensions and internal faces are accurate within the specified limits. Internal faces of the moulds are smooth. The base plate is attached to the mould by cleats .The parts of the mould, when assembled, are positively and rigidly held together during filling, subsequent handling andvibration where applicable.

Engineered for Precision

Each F1 Class Standard Weight is carefully manufactured from high-grade, non-magnetic stainless steel to guarantee accurate calibration. Adhering to OIML F1 class standards, these weights provide dependable accuracy in laboratory and industrial settings, enabling precise balancing and consistent measurement results.

Versatile Range and Secure Packaging

With available denominations ranging from 1 mg to 5 kg, these calibration weights accommodate a wide variety of calibration requirements. Each weight is clearly marked and is available as a single unit or part of a set, presented in protective cases to prevent contamination and damage during storage and transport.

Ideal Balance Calibration Solution

F1 Class Standard Weights are an excellent choice for users seeking reliable and precise calibration of precision balances. Their corrosion-resistant, highly-polished construction offers both durability and a smooth finish, making them suitable for sustained industrial, laboratory, and metrological use.

FAQ's of F1 Class Standard Weights:

Q: How do I use F1 Class Standard Weights for calibrating a precision balance?

A: To calibrate a precision balance, select the appropriate F1 Class Standard Weight matching the balance's capacity, ensure both the weight and balance are clean and free from contaminants, and place the weight on the balance according to the manufacturer's calibration procedure. This process guarantees accurate measurements as required by industry standards.

Q: What denominations are available for F1 Class Standard Weights?

A: The F1 Class Standard Weights are available in a range of denominations from 1 milligram up to 5 kilograms. This selection allows for versatile use and supports a wide spectrum of calibration needs in laboratory, industrial, and metrology environments.

Q: When should I choose F1 Class Standard Weights over other calibration weights?

A: You should choose F1 Class Standard Weights when you require precise calibration, especially for high-precision balances used in laboratories or metrology labs. Their adherence to the stringent tolerances of OIML R111 F1 standards ensures reliable and repeatable results, making them suitable for quality assurance and routine verification processes.

Q: Where are F1 Class Standard Weights typically used?

A: These weights are primarily used in laboratories, metrology centers, research facilities, and industrial settings that rely on accurate mass measurements. They serve crucial roles in quality control, equipment calibration, and verification tasks requiring high accuracy.

Q: What is the process for maintaining F1 Class Standard Weights?

A: Maintain F1 Class Standard Weights by storing them in their protective case when not in use, handling them with gloves or forceps to avoid contamination, and cleaning them periodically using approved methods to preserve their accuracy and polished surface. Regular inspection helps prevent any compromise in measurement precision.

Q: What are the benefits of using F1 Class Standard Weights?

A: The primary benefits include highly accurate calibration, superior corrosion resistance, durability due to non-magnetic stainless steel construction, and easy identification with clear marking.
